Farm advice you can hear, in Twi.

Ask Sonovarem about your maize by voice, in Asante Twi or English. Every answer comes from Ghana's extension guides.

Sonovarem asking how you want to talk: Speak Twi, Speak English or Read English.

One question, from voice to answer.

The start screen: a large speaker button and the words Tap to start.

Made for farmers, not for screens.

No reading needed

Every screen speaks. Farmers listen and tap, and can ask again as many times as they like.

Three ways to talk

  • Speak EnglishAsk and hear answers in English
  • Read EnglishType and read, no microphone

“When should I plant my maize this season?”

It checks before it answers

Sonovarem repeats the question back, so a misheard word never turns into wrong advice.

Every answer names its source

Answers come only from these guides. Doses and numbers are checked against the page they came from.

Honest when it is not sure

If the guides do not cover a question, it says so and suggests who to ask:

  • Ask an experienced neighbour
  • Ask an input seller
  • Ask an extension officer if one is near
